8 hours / full day tour
Explore St. Petersburg's most spectacular suburban residences during this memorable, full-day tour of the Catherine and Pavlovsk palaces.
Located in Tsarskoye Selo, or 'Tsar's Village', the Catherine Palace is surrounded by a romantic park with mysterious arbours, pavilions, grottoes and statues.
After lunch, continue the day with a visit to Pavlovsk Palace, the former royal summer residence of Emperor Paul I, the only son of Catherine the Great. The palace remained a residence of the Romanov family until 1915. Though the palace and the park were destroyed in 1941-44, they have been completely restored and present the most complete picture of a royal suburban residence.
